Early Dinner + Late Lunch @Vien's Resto Semarang

Food time! Been a long time for me when the last time I posted my food hunter diary to the blog. It was a fun labels for me. Every time I took a dinner, lunch or even breakfast out, at home or maybe a takeout meals or even you know, delivery food. 

Last September 29th 2014, my sister and I are made our spare night to be together, leaving our hush hush hours for an hour or more. We noticed, or she notices there's a new place in town, quiet and some kind of peaceful version, a smaller version. She came across to this place, and it was a good surprise. So, I'm heading to Vien's Resto Sausage & Steak to make myself get a little four hours early before she make it.

The first impression I ever blown to my mind was, this place have a deserted feeling, and an exclusivity chic. You have to come over to some alley, and you turn to left and you have to push your brakes a little more to hold yourself, and then you arrives. I personally drives a motorcycle, so I have to be very very very down low to get a parking space. It's nearly 4 - 5 feet down below. I'm not a measure pro, never have been. To get into your seat, you need to passes two tiers of stairs. I choose out door tables, they say it's a perfect and the best seat to have yourself a little stargazing and city lights moment.

"I think it is really deserted, lonely, beautiful, and gazer-kind-of-place", I said to myself.

I order a drink for sure, to be first. My disappointment was the waitress took five to seven minutes to take my order. I mean it's a great place, but it will be disaster if I can't get my order soon. Despite the waitress, this place offers me hour and hours gazing. Bright sun landscape, hill, and you know, city people. You can see I order ombré beverages. I'm so lost what is this call, but it has a sour, sweet and weird taste. I guessed the bottom layer was Melon syrup, next I will guessed this as a Pandan, Strawberry syrup, with a bit of Sunkist syrup, or Orange syrup. The upper layer is a soda, Pepsi Blue. With lengkong fusion, which I don't really like it. Maybe it was my mistake.

Can you see it? I love to see the skies changing. 4.48 PM - 6.11 PM, 6.30 PM, 7.15 PM. They're all pretty.
Oh, yes, she came when the sunset goes down. We talk overnight.

Let's Get Toast!

My twin and I just loving eating out. Probably there are many excuses for that and sometimes there is no good reason to eating home, like cooking and stuff. We kept it special, you know the whole eating home and cooking thing. Even, I just love cooking. So, in lovely and a bit rainy Sunday, we decided to set a date downtown, here we are in Toasty Eatery. If you're local, it's a whole toast kinda thing. You'll find any toast menu and fresh milky beverages. The table was perfectly setting and feels so homey. It was not too cold (air conditioner cold), and not too hot. I mean, this is feels just like home. As you can see what we had, it was never enough when you got to fast speaking about your life while you lived apart from your twin.

I'm lovin' her neon wing ring and lookin' good in my finger. For the record I wasn't payin' for this, she did. She want to. I can't denied her.

Our date was running out with the time so we can't keep it any longer. But one thing for sure is, we want to meet once a week start from now.

Coffee Shop All Over Again

I just love coffee shop. It made me learn how to taste coffee a little bit. I'm gettin good at it. But I love to having green tea latte & hazelnut, now they have mojito so I tried it once, not bad actually. These days I really need 'me-alone-time' session. Don't know. But I love when knowing my twin was there to makes me not too alone. We ate alot, I had ice cream wafel, macaroni, lasagna. GOD! I wish I could stop. I wish I would stop. Tastes sooooooo good. Thank you twin, for made my day. xo

Can't Stop, Won't Stop Eating

That another Monday, I mean like three weeks ago. I started my day with a typical morning class which is Monday for me, would be like horrific, and plus I don't want to look pathetic because I'm going to have a lunch with my friends, Uli & Kokom. That day was the most terrificly busy Monday, ever. Those makeups above pretty much saving me during the day.

I love about my outfit by the way. Don't you think so? It's a combination of Autumn and abit of Summer I guess. I love that necklace I stole from my aunt's closet. Glad I left her a note and she calls my mum right aways she read my note. 

Did I tell you our Monday here was for eat? I wouldn't mind actually. I'm getting so tired counting every calories I've eaten this year. Now it's time to revenge. First I had an individual lunch at Mc Donald's while I was waiting for Uli & Kokom. You know, dating with late people never do you good. I forced my self to resist my dtarve. Fries & Iced Coffee sounded good. And she was coming after, two hours.

We had our main lunch with Pizza & Garlic Bread. It was so kinda the most exciting lunch I ever had. I don't know why I could say that. I ate seven slices of pizza! It was so nice!

Then we had dinner at Basilia. Nice place to hang out and nice place to go to waiting the rain stop. We actually would like to having our dinner outside and have some stargazing. But there was no stars, and it was rain.

I made a funny when I took a photographs of Uli. She have no idea what I was doing. I found Breaking Dawn novel and started to read it. Our beer was so great. We had 3 beer. This place might be the greatest place ever to capture your aha moments. Like mine.

I really enjoy every single pieces of pizza I ate. It was one day where I could find a pleasure of eating. Which I've lost it in many years. Thank you for willing be my date. xo
